ABOUT IEHIO

IEHIO’s purpose is to connect people with data by coordinating data sharing services not only for treatment at the point of care, but also to address the psycho-social determinants of health to support whole-person care efforts that improve the health of all residents in the Inland Empire. IEHIO is a non-profit organization supporting interoperability for healthcare and the community.

Position Summary

The Project Lead will be responsible for promoting and increasing the utilization of Connect IE, a community resource platform/community information exchange. Responsibilities include onboarding healthcare organizations and conducting training within the healthcare community, including providers, case managers, social workers, and medical office staff. This role requires working with healthcare organizations and providers to enable technology use for quality improvement and enhancement of care outcomes for specific programs and/or specific participants. The ideal candidate will understand marketing and sales campaigns to create outreach, public relations, and develop communications for the IEHIO’s projects.

The ideal candidate has a positive and energetic attitude, with a strong emphasis on quality customer service. Additional responsibilities include record management, preparing routine correspondence, developing/sending mass mailings, assisting and participating in special events, and serving as a liaison between the IEHIO and the healthcare community.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong public speaking skills: ability to conduct meetings, presentations, and trainings in a well-communicative manner
  • Solid understanding of project management and experience managing projects with varying levels of complexity
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and write business correspondence and memos
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to complete work promptly and efficiently during periods of high demand
  • Flexibility to attend occasional meetings outside regular business hours
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with a desire to be part of a multi-disciplinary, diverse, and dynamic team
  • A strong understanding of marketing and networking
  • Prior background or exposure to health information technology will be beneficial
  • Proficient computer skills, knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.…)

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Physical Activities:  Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other devices and objects. Physically able to sit for long periods.

Travel:  Car travel required throughout Riverside & San Bernardino Counties.
