Farmer Boys, the popular Riverside-based fast casual concept known for their farm-fresh burgers and exceptional service, will once again sponsor the 35th Annual Children’s Day at Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital. Farmer Boys has proudly sponsored the event for the last 9 years and has donated more than $1,000,000 to LLUCH since 2000. The free event is a community health fair aimed at providing young children aged 3-8 years old with non-threatening exposure to a hospital setting. Local children and families are invited to participate in various hands-on learning activities such as a Teddy Bear Clinic, where kids can bring a doll or stuffed animal for a check-up; Fire Safety booth, where children will learn to extinguish a fire using water and fire balloons; and Dr. Bill Hayes’ venomous animals, featuring an array of creatures like rattlesnakes, lizards, and more.
